Coming Soon! The Me-162!
#16

I couldn't really think of an appropriate name. I settled on '162' cos of the '1' engine, as opposed to '2'.
More WIP screenies to come.

The real Bf 162...

It would be better to research this one, fix it up, and call it the Me 262 V1 as that's what it looks like you're trying to make.

Deac, we've already cleared the name thing up thanks.
Anyways, I will not be making a hybrid '262, only the single engined fighter as a hypothetical thing.
More sscreens soon.

I don't think you get it... The Me 262 V1 was a single engine prototype fighter that is essentially what you are making. Here's a better picture...

The jet engines were added as they became available, but it started out like this. Just trying to bring in a more historical perspective...

Looks like the top picture here: http://home.att.net/~jv44/early_262.htm

Which according to the caption is a Me 262 V1, WkNr 262 000 0001 w/ Jumo 210G piston engine first flew 18 April, 1941. Looks interesting, doesn't say anything about armament, perhaps it was unarmed prototype? What have you installed in it?

Exactly what I was talking about and as far as I can see, it was not armed...

This is not historically accurate. It is hypothetical.

See, what's funny is that you're making a historical plane, but throwing a couple guns on it and screwing with the name. Pardon me, but that seems rather strange... Besides, we don't need aton of hypothetical planes, because next, we'll get this:

It's up to you in the end, but seriously think about what you're doing here... That's all I'm going to say on the matter, so best of luck.

Please...
Lets examine this:
1. Throwing a couple of guns on it? COME ON! This is a COMBAT FLIGHT SIM. You want to fly a fighter without guns?
Fly the storch into a dogfight, see how you go!
2. Screwing with the name? Since when am I screwing with the name??!!! I didn't know what to call the thing.I decided on something which I didn't think existed.
By the way, you might like to notice the difference between ME and BF. The BF-162 has not got the same name as the ME-162. Get the facts straight.
3. I'd like to fly that thing. What is the problem is some people like to fly hypothetical aircraft?
You dont have to download it, so don't bitch and complain that Im making something hypothetical, just because you think soon someone will FORCE you to download it!

Hello NZ William.
That's pretty much what I'm going for. As my model is hypothetical, I have added:
2x MG131 MGs on the engine cowling.
2X MG151 Cannons on the wing.
1x Type D Droptank.
