Looking For MiG-15 Fonts
#1

I'm working on some MiG-15 skins. I'm having a hard time finding historically correct fonts. Any links would be appreciated.

Most everything you'll need can be found here:

Goto the Downloads section and then select "Markings"

I do frequent that site, but they don't have those particular fonts. Thanks anyway.

Still searching the net for these fonts. In doing so, I saw a strange post in some forum about why North Korea will not release North Korean fonts to the rest of the world. I don't know if that was a joke or some peculiar reality.

In any event....still searching.

Hey, I am not a skinner--so I may be of no help--or simply point out the obvious.

http://www.dafont.com/

This site has free fonts--a million (well only 9,839)--which means you would still have to hunt for them.

My wife is in printing and she swears by this site.

Thanks a lot! Cool site.

EDIT: I installed a few of these fonts. Now when I open a program, the bar on top just has a bunch of funny symbols, insead of the name of the program. I must have messed something up. I tried to remove the fonts I installed, but that didn't help. Any idea's on how to get my English text back?

I don't know.

All I do is download the fonts.

And then drag them into my fonts folder, which is for everything on my PC that uses them--MS Word, Photoshop etc.

Never had a problem.
