just installed windows 7 ,got my game back up an running but can not get full screen.i was at 1920 x 1200.ive got two inches of black screen on each side in game.ive changed res in game and in the conf but nuthing gets the screen to full.the in game is on full. the conf is at 1 under full screen..any ideas

Wrong place for this, but enter your conf ini settings and save them, you may have to turn off UAC (User Account Control). I believe you can turn it down in windows 7.

Here's what I have in mine, just change the res for yours:

EnableResize=0
EnableClose=0

Use3Renders=0

The black bars on either side will remain whilst it's loading, and in the menu screen, but when you play the game it will switch to full screen.

If you run the set up for IL2, or go into the game video modes it will overwrite your settings. Hope that helps....

Check config.ini as read only so it doesn't never change if you won't. Around here or SaS forum there's a mod to allow loadin' screen in wide mode.
