T-6 Texan
#1

Hey guys. Got another photo gallery. A picture summary of the Texan's I've seen at Airshow's I've been to as well as Air Museum's. The first couple picture are of myself when I got to climb up into a Texan in Tillamook, Oregon at The Tillamook Air Museum. This Texan was flown by "Swede" Ralston a Navy Aviator from WWII. In 1951 he flew his T-6 "Swede" upside down through the Tillamook Blimp Hangar at an Airshow. That is why "Swede" is painted upside down.

Enjoy.

I swear I saw the blue SNJ at an airshow here in Maine at Owls Head Trans. Museum doing an aerobatic display, great show it was. The M16 is a cool vehicle, believe it was called the meat grinder due to the effect its quad 50's had on infantry. We had one at Fort Benning, GA as a gate guard when I was in the service there.
