Playtesters needed! Battle for Malta 1941
#1

Hi there!

I have made a campaign for Maraz beautiful Malta map (see this thread: viewtopic.php?t=3036).

You are a Bf109E pilot in 7th Staffel of Jagdgeschwader 26, that has just left France to join Fliegerkorps X on Sicily. Your target is Malta, a small island of enormous strategic importance, as it sits in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, as a sort of second Gibraltar for the British, a base for their submarines and aircraft preying on the Axis lines of supply to Libya. If the Axis are to win in North Africa, Malta has to be neutralised!

The campaign is finished with skins and all, but I still need someone to try it on before it is released.

If you are interested just PM me!

That eastern front 109E skin is inappropriate for Malta.

Well, I'm no Luftwaffe buff, but that type of camo was used over Greece in May 1941 as well, so I hesitate to call it "Eastern Front". And I picked it from a batch of 4 Malta Bf109 skins. But I'm no expert.

Is there anyone else who has an opinion in this matter? Switching skins is - after all - a piece of cake...

its a scheme used by Jg54 from midway through the battle of Britain till after the invasion of Russia.

It was used in the Balkans but I wouldnt use it for a JG26 Malta campaign.

Alright LW skins buffs, would that be more accurate ? The versions I sent Poltava has the MTO white fuselage band as well. Skins by CanonUK.
