Hi everyone!

Just some questions about the 4.09 version.

I installed it but it didn't work on my IL-2. Do I have to install 4.08 before, or I have to update a clean DVD-only version?

What's the difference between the various 4.09m 4.09bm etc versions? Which is preferable for multiplay?

Is the version swithcher working good? Even in multiplayer on-line mode? I mean: if I install various versions (all in the same folder?) will it ask me which one to run each time I join a Hyperlobby server?

Hi, you must patch your game to 408 first, then 409.


409 b1m was the old beta patch, 409 m is the new official patch. 409m is the 1 you want.


The version switcher works fine. If you have multi installs (different versions- 1.2, UP 1.8, HSFX,) then you have to rename the game folder you want to use to IL2 Sturmovik 1946 for hyperloby to find it.

Only one last thing: so, if I want to use version switcher, I have to do multiple installations in different-named folders, patch/mod each one in a different way, and version switcher will detect them all?
Or I do install everything in one folder and the switcher does the rest (I guess it's the first one!)?

disk 4.07---->patch 4.08m----->patch UI 1.1-----> UI1.2 this has the switcher =Swticher works only with this group.

Disk 4.07--> patch 4.08m----> patch 4.09m ----> HSFX-V4 or UP 1.8

I'm trying various combinations and it's working pretty good!
I was even looking for an improvement in graphics: I think I found it. Now this 'old' game is trying to kill my video card (12 fps sometimes...)
