Yep the note pad in the download only had that. One of the other users of the forum has identified a button issue. It's probably that, unless you have other information. Or the notepad file was missing somthing. The text above is correct from the note pad for that mod. That's correct again unless you have any more information. There is a fix for the TU-4A posted perhaps i will give that a try.

Yep the note pad in the download only had that.

I think you got him wrong.
He wants to know whether the line above shows the full contents of your air.ini file (meaning that you replaced the existing air.ini instead of adding that line). If so, this would explain the 60% CTD of course.

No dude, obviously it's the line i added to the air.ini file. If it was the only one then it would be a lonely Tu-4 indeed. The thing i was wondering was that the file is live in the planes slot folder, with the little cog emblem, so perhps just the plane folder goes into mods. I think it is a button issue, I'm using SAS 3.0 and they have beeing having thier troubles of late, so perhaps have not caught up. Do you know a button file that will make it work, that also works with UP?

Well i have both Tu-4's working side to side with no issues whatsoever, other that the little payload misbehave of the "normal" Tu-4, i have UI 1.2 running on 4.09b moded and SAS buttons 2.9, my entries regarding the Tu-4's are this:

Hi dude, I had nothing in my readme about the ru_properties, maybe that's what the thing is. I'll give it a whirl and see if she flies.

EDIT: I figured out how to install the Tu-4: install as per Russia-forever's instructions, edit air.ini and add tu-4-a to MODS folder. Add

Tu-4-A               Tu-4-A, 1949

to plane_ru, and create a folder in Paintschemes/Skins folder called

Tu-4-A

. Rename the actual Tu4 folder in MODS, which installed in Russian and should be the very bottom mod, to

Code:

Tu-4-A

. Those are the steps I used and now it runs great

PS I use UI 1.2 buttons

Hi Russia-Forever, i am running it in the set up i mentioned and i have absolutely no issues, i have made long bombing runs and escorts, i have flow it myself and let the ai flew it, it never gave me an error, plus, i want to thank you very much for them ^_^
