I was glad to see a thread about this...

Personally my biggest pet-peave are the MG151/20's. I tried replacing the sound files in the samples folder, but it keeps playing the sounds that I'm trying to get rid of. Must I do something with the preset files too? Anyone figure this out?

Is there any other sounds out there besides the UI 1.1 and UI 1.2 version of these MG 151/20 cannons?

99% of the UI 1.2 is great but these magnificent cannons deserve a good sound

To change 151 souds u have to change MG_68.wav and MG_68i.wav respectivly,not MG_151.wav(MG_151x.wav).If that for some reason fails make folder and name it what ever u wish(smt like 151 sounds),and in it put your sound sampels of mg 68,and than u put that folder in mods folder.If u are not happy with volume go to the start/programs/accessories/entertainment and there u will find sound recorder accessorie.With it u can change the volume of mg 151s :wink:
