Hey guys Need help whit mods as you see im new to this forum been afk from il2 ower a year and just came back few days ago and i can say i love the way il2 is going whit the mods great job for all the modders out there!

Soo here is the problem i got 4.09 installed and hsfx 4.0 and 4.1 but how can i use your guys mods for example Getters hit mod *20mm hit flash+30mm+(GunFire or GunSmoke)* v3 viewtopic.php?t=11124
ect i used the mod loader in il2 1946 folder and nothing

would be great if someone could help me out how to get mods to work sry for his stupid questions but im totaly new to moding il2

Edit* ive gone true most of the other post in here and omg im confused what mod program should i use seems like their are hundreds different mod programs like the ui 1.1 and 1.2 then the HSFX, SaS ect :???: the mods im after are the Getters hit mod, Avala oil blotch 1.1 mod, OLZ water v2, the sound mod , and few more mods

i did a clean install again and installed the ui 1.1 and 1.2 from 4.08 patch still cant get any other mod like the OLC water v2 to work ? only the mods that where included in ui 1.2 are working anyone that can help me out pls? this is the most confusing moding ive ever had in a game before and ive moded allot of games

Edit* well im giving up wasted 1 and a half day and a mayor headache on trying to get some of the amazing mods that are in here to work and no one willing to help sems like no one gives a shit 40k+ members sems like their are as confused as i am well if anyone want to help il really apreaciate it ! Hi, I think you would be better off going with UP 1.8, as its desingned to be mod friendly.
HSFX is mainly for SEOW I believe. But Ive read you can create a folder named Mods in your root HSFX folder , then simply drop the mods you want to use in there.
(make sure you read the readme for your mods you want to install)

But Id recomend UP 1.8.

Thnx man! well i uninstalled the hole game back to a clean copy again think il try UP 1.8 hawent tried that mod yet, but do you know how to put the new water effects on from OLC water mod? i tried to changed the confi.file back when i had 1.2 installed but still could't get it to work :???: any idea how to make it work?

With UP you can use mods just like in UI. Just drop them in your Mod folder.

Thnx for the help guys! finaly got the mods and the water mod to work UP 1.8 is far the best way to use for mods ive learn thnx again guys! and for all the modders out there keep up the good work! :wink:
