I have given the clouds a more flushy-puffy feel and they are cute now

Piece of Cake is a british TV series which is set during th BoF/BoB period and is based on the famous (and highly acclaimed) book by Derek Robinson. I ask because the music in the series is really good, and I'd love to see it in IL-2

I'll try and report back on the update when I get time on my other PC

Excuse my ignorance man, but in Poland we are getting only our own stuff. We don't have any cool stuff in TV.
I believe it has got a nice music, but I'll stay with my mw2 one, hell gates broke open when I was trying to get it right without sound errors
Anyway if you have got the music, I can make it work with IL2 and upload it for you

in the video , mig have engine at full power smoke , where it is coming from ?
What game version you're running ? , was just wondering if it is some kind of
smoke that was given to jets by HSFX or UP1.8 ?
It's very visible smoke .

It's smoke from my mod
It's not that cool though, It does look good on jet's, but unfortunately it is also shared by normal planes, as somewhat similiar to fuel leak. It's file is BlackMediumSmoke or something. However, I've reduced it's alpha so It's much smoother now.

Thanks Timmy, I'm going to re-do version 1 clouds also.
I'm going to remove textures edges on that since 1's a little buggy.

Thaks for reply Chappi ,

Bluring clouds and smoothing edges will almost remove visible clouds jerking when watching clouds from inside cockpit
but there is a price to pay with it because clouds became less rich looking losing inside clouds edges and shadows to
making it look more like one color white cotton balls .
Version V1 is better at least for me , if you can keep Version V1 sharp texture as it is just smoothing edges a little bit
and reducing that texture size from 4MB down to 1MB , that would make it a nice another alternative which I would prefer
Chappi , no matter what you do next , keep up the good work !!

Very good work!

When I made the Big Bombs effects, I tried a few big particles at first, but the results wasn't so good and was a FPS killer.
Then I tried a lot of small particles together, and the effects look very good with good FPS.
I don't know if it's possible with clouds, but, if so, you can test it. :wink:
