[WIP]Chappi's Particle Effects.

Hello this is my pack of particles.
First of all I want to thank all people that were doing similiar mods earlier because without them this wouldn't be possible.
And a big thanks to HolyGrail Smile

I know that HolyGrail and Potenz and Wolfighter Team and Santobr and many more people already did such effects mods, and I'm not hiding that they are better than this, but I thought that people always need to have more options to pick, additionaly I've asked him if it is ok to post such a mod and he gave me permission to do so.

This mod replaces following effects
1)All engine damage, leaks, smoke, fire and stuff.

2)When plane hits the ground, parts of plane are emitting long streak of fire as seen on P38 crash on airshow, basically recreating the fuel tanks ignition on impact.
3)The rockets, 250,500,1000 bombs explosions are not affected. I'm not promoting scrapping together stuff from other mods, but I'm using my mod combined with HolyGrail's bomb explosions.
4)However, the FAB5000/Mistel/Cookie explosion is changed because the default one was kinda out of place.


NOTE:Those flak explosion effects are not mine, and won't be included in this package, those are only a placeholders since I'm going to create my own.
NOTE:Those plane ground explosions are not mine - they are HG's and they won't be included in the relase, and I won't make my own Big Grin

5)The mid-air explosion have been souped up as well, and unfortunately the ship bomb impact too.

This is ship impact effect, Mid-Air explosion looks the same.
6)3D stall effect

+This is huge fps friendly.
+Smoke blobs decreased to minimum - there are always parts that are on fire forever, but it shouldn't be too heavy on your pc.

I'm going to create another thread with download link in WIP-BETA DOWNLOADS when we will finnish this.
However I won't rewrite there all this stuff, but instead I will provie mod's download link and a link to this thread where all information is stored.

PROGRESS
Pretty much everything's finnished, now I'm only calling you guys for advice especially about those smoke trails and stuff because I don't know if they are fine as it goes for life time, alpha, size and stuff.
So that's about 75% complete, where 25% remaining is tweaking that depends on you, I'm opened for suggestions as I want this to be realistic yet playable.

My current to-do list:
I'm thinking about making the FAB/Mistel/Cookie explosion mushroom ( the big black one ) last much longer so it rises above the clouds and turns white, so it will give a nice effect when you will be fighting around such a mushroom.
Also I think about resizing the condensation shockwave particles so their edges won't be so easy to spot and whole explosion will be more fluid.
The explosion could also use some initial flash.

Plus that particle effect does not use 2 effects - I had no idea to what add to that explosion. If you have any idea, please share Smile

It is using two layers but it does not work for crap and I don't understand all values so the project is dead at the moment.

The mid-air explosions look fantastic! 100x better than the default orangish-mist explosion.

Can't wait to give these a try.

I don't know, the colour really depends on what caught fire, but since we have only engine and fuel tank fire which additionaly share their files I have choosen the white/grey one. We'll see how it turns out.

Sorry for the necro-bump, but if anyone's still interested in those damage fx's and bomb explosions, I can continue them since I have those WIP's still in my IL2 folder.
