Hi, the first of my SCW series: Todo por la patria: Angelitos sobre Andalucia

This is a 12 mission campaign for Nationalist Hs-123 taking place during the Battle of Malaga in 1937.

Be a German "volunteer" in "Legion Condor" and help the Spanish Nationalists to capture the Republican-held port of Malaga.

Requirements: 4.09, Ultrapack 2, Andalucia map, Ju-52 bomber, Kubelwagen.

Thanks for a VERY ambitious effort! D/L-ing!!! I will follow this series.

You have done a lot for making it possible to game SCW in IL-2 (because this isn't your first effort, as we all know.) Where does your great interest in Spanish Civil War come from, if I may ask?

Nothing special - I just love Forgotten Wars. But this is a sort of a local conflict with global impact - Germans, Italians and Spaniards on one side vs. Spaniards + many other nations (including Czechs, of course) on the other.

And as you must have noticed - I love biplanes! So lovely and nimble!

You have done a lot for making it possible to game SCW in IL-2 (because this isn't your first effort, as we all know.)

Cracken is far too modest sometimes - he is often the one who comes up with a great suggestion for a new map. He suggested I make the Aleutians, Madagascar, Dakar, Hormuz and Batavia maps and a few others whose exact names escape me at the moment ...

We both suffer from the Forgotten War Syndrome ... ha ha

Cracken campaign is excellent indeed. Great map, great skins great missions. Most impressive is driving kubel wagen really good !!! If I may ask when we can expect second part ( maybe on republican side ) ?

Brunete?? I did not know there was a map with it... Or did you use any existing map as a "hack"?

The other thing is you should create another thread with your campaign - would be better for players to have a thread for every single campaign.

Nah, there is no map over the Brunete area, so I used the stock Italy map.

I have a basic map of the Madrid/Jarama/Brunete area already made - but it should be re-textured into 1024 ... AND ... the usual lament - not populated yet ....

If anyone has any spare time on their hands and would like to take on any aspect of completion - say by making templates for villages and towns - they are always welcome ...
