The very thing I tried, and it worked. Go to your mission file that you have saved, open it with note pad, scroll down till you find the flight you want to modify, it will have a number 4 representing how many is in the flight, change the 4 to 8 or somthing to that nature and save it, then start the mission and there are now more planes in the flight. I am still wondering if there is some kinda mod you can do to the program to change the 4 to another number with out going thru the mission file.

Sorry it took me so long to ansewr back, Christmas and what not, I don't know why it worked for me, I did it to an AI flight, changed the variable from 4 to 8, made sure they used default skins and such, I was using UP2.0, and the channel map (not the huge one). My hope though is to find someone who knows how to get into the main program to change the variables in QMB and FMB, ie, the drop down. I realize this game came out some time ago and was tuned to antiquated machines, but I have a kick butt machine now that can run on perfect settings on the canon UK map with 10 flights of 4 on each side and a buttload objects, and would like to see how big of flights I can actually run b4 I get a stutter.

Have you used UBERDEMON's program (UQMG)? This is a Quick Mission Generator and already a tradition, with it you can add as many aircrafts to a mission up to your PC limit; I am sorry I do not know how to post a link, but the address for downloading is:
