The New Svir Map and HSFX 4.1
#1

Hello All

One simple question....Well this map work with the HSFX mode...Since this map is an exe. file and I only have one copy of IL2 on my pc...and I don't want to install the mode again. Sad I though I would be safe and see if anyone else with HSFX has downloaded this New Map and Campaign (Karelia42)...looks like it would be fun to play.. Smile

Thx Guys

Also...if your thinking about downloading HSFX4.1.......DO IT!! The sounds alone are worth it...Speeking of sounds, I'm also wondering if Tiger's 33 new sound mode he's working on well work...keeping fingers crossed there... Big Grin

Youcan install/exctract the map to temperary folder.
And after that you can manually add map to HSFX.
just drop the Kt_svir folder to \MODS\MapMods and
add these lines to MODS\MapMods\ all.ini file
Kt_svir Kt_svir/load.ini
Kt_svir_W Kt_svir/loadw.ini

Beg your pardon, kapteeni, but your map should be dropped into
.../Il2 Sturmovik 1946/Files/maps/ folder of HSFX4.1
where also the file all.ini resides.
The map itself is very nice, as it is your good practice.
Happy new year !

with all due respect but in order to "older" map mods work with HSFX ( + auto installer) we have advised users to move all.ini and maps folder to its "original" location .

(The link is inoperative)

May be. But both ways work. Just verified.
Happy new year, Zoran.
Edit: I have not good experience with auto installers,
prefer manual install, where I know what goes where and why.
And do not like duplicite folders in my installs, when unnecessary.
Just my experience.
EDIT2: Everybody, excuse me, please for any inconvenience by this post.
