Currently, we have the following Cobras:

P-39D-1BE
P-39D-2BE
P-39N-1BE
P-39Q-1BE
P-39Q-10BE
P-63C-5BE

There is also an Airacobra F Mk. I at SAS:

I think it would be good to add the following:

XP-39-BE
P-39C-BE
P-39J-BE
P-39M-1BE
P-400-BE
P-63A-1BE
RP-63A-BE
RP-63C-BE
RP-63G-BE

Hmm, what about this one? A "strange" flyer.

I would forget the XP39. The americans never sent prototypes into combat.

I said the XP-39-BE, because that one actually had the B-5 turbosupercharger. It was what the Airacobra should have been before the Army engineers streamlined it and cut out the turbosupercharger. With the intended armament, it would have been the best fighter in the world when America entered the war. There's meaning to my madness. Oh yeah, I added three variants I forgot about earlier to the list.

Sure, the Messerschmitt Me-262 two-seater night-fighter variant is
a nice aircraft too Big Grin

A two seater FW-190 would also be cool ! 8)

I wouldn't mind having more Airacobra's in game. My Grandfather served as a Crew Chief on P-400's and P-39's in the Pacific during WWII and he said it was a great plane if you just didn't screw with things. 8)
