[Mod] Weapon Control Mod

Hi Gents!
i want to realese some my new semi-real mod:
Weaponcontrol mod: this mode give you an ability to control of starting weapons (bombs or rockets) and delay between weapons start.

You needed only to add in conf.ini file this strings
BombToStart=X
RocketToStart=Y
DropBombDelay=Z
where X,Y,Z is integer numbers.
Minimal delay is 0.03s( if you set DropBombDelay=1). If you set it 2,3,4 etc delay will 0.06,0.09,0.12 and etc...
If you want to start all rockets or bomb per 1 time, just set X or Y as -1

In example:
BombToStart=2
RocketToStart=-1
DropBombDelay=10
It mean, that there will start 2 bombs with delay 0.3swconds, and all rockets per 1 time.
Note:Now you can use settings for drop only 1 bomb from wing, but plane will have bad control perfomances and may crash. I did this ability, becase in real in most of planes of WW2 were electro-mechanical bomb shackles, and there no any technical troubles to do this. Real pilots do not do this, because they have no button "retry" Smile.
Note: if drop many bomb(more then 5-6) from internal bomb rack with small delay, bombs maybe stocked Smile
Note: i reccomend use this mod with my Rocket Dispersial mod Smile


installation:
- extract rar to mods folder
- add in conf.ini in section [Mods] your configuration.

Soounds great Smile but i'm confused about 1 thing though the bombbaydoor MOD is already in HSFX 4.1 install doesn't it conflit now?

- Or it could be done by having a key to cycle through presets
- A nice additional feature would be to drop bombs in reverse order (ie. highest # hardpoint to lowest # hardpoint). This way one could effectively choose which type of bomb to drop first.

or map it to the "increase/decrease sight range" command or the "select wingspan" command

Hi I've downloaded this mod, put in mods, added lines in conf.ini but it doesn't work. the version is the one to work with bombbaydoors which I have already in mods. any idea? thanks

yes, it is great idea. i think, somebody, if he wants, can improove this feature for anyplane, in example il2,pe2,ju87,b17,b29 and etc...
it is easy, because i separete needable vriables, you can find in methods:

nASP = getBombToDrop();
int del= getDelay();
int roc = getRocketToStart();

it is impossible, because weaponcontrol in game work on 2 cycles(cycle in cycle).

do you unninstal previous version of bombbaydoors?

Actually I've tried that but once shooting or dropping a bomb my game goes "il-2 exe has stopped to work" and that's it..... i've got all your great mods and I just need to be able to enjoy this as well....

well, this is what i did:

1- downloaded your mod
2- put it into mods file inside my il-2 game
3- added lines in my il-2 conf-ini, as you say in your post

I have put a - in front of my bombbaydoors mod

when i start a qmb mission it loads but when i touch any key in my keyboard, for instace to fire a rocket, the game freezes and a post says "il-2 exe stopped to work"

i have done it two times. just doesn't work......

do I need bombbaydoors plus mod to work together with your mod?

Zloey problem solved! it was a corrupted file! now everyting is working fine! thank you for your work...just love it!
