some Ju-88-C " Blue Nosed Bastards of the Russian Front "



This particular camouflage-scheme for the day/night-fighter Ju-88-C is pretty radical.

They painted their noses blue so the Russians would think these Luftwaffe Ju-88 aircraft were
bombers, and posed no danger. A favourite Russian Fighter tactic was to usually attack bombers head-on, but they
were not expecting this special Junkers to be equipped with an arsenal of big guns in its nose !
The war in Russia was really insane and mad!

One of the aircraft pictured belongs to the 4./ KG 76 ( F1+XM ) , although in my skin I just added the tail victory-marks
with little red-stars, and left-out the Squadron Badge that was painted near the cockpit area. I still have the badge

They will be coming to a Cinema near you very soon... and it will not take 10 years to make like
that movie "Avatar" !

By the end of this week there should be a few summer camouflaged versions ,
a sand/desert version, and a few other late-war summer camo types. Oh , and a
few captured by Allied forces versions too.
