The title says it all. I want to build a coop mission in which the player aircraft start the mission off-runway and need to taxi into position before takeoff. How do I do this?

In FMB select objects then stationary ships then test runways. Place these runways in a flat location. Do not place real close to an existing airfield. Once you have made your own airfield you can place single flyable aircraft in a hangar or where ever you want them to taxi from to the runway for takeoff.
Imagine your airfield as a circle. You need to drag the takeoff icon outside this circle until it doesnt swaps back to the runway icon.
(There's a mod which reduces this airfield radius.)

McHilt, do you mean that if the mission is set up as a Dogfight using MDS, that aircraft can be placed to start off runway? This could be what I'm looking for. I'm using HSFX4.1 and I have it's version of Zuti's MDS enabled.
Thanks Sneaky! So, all I do is set the position of the plane just off the taxiway, without setting the waypoint as TAKEOFF, open the .mis file in notepad and change the type of waypoint from say, "NORMFLY" to "TAKEOFF" and save?
Not having any luck with this so far- I'll keep trying as time permits. If I do come up with a solution, and I think there is one out there, I'll post it here in case anyone else needs to know.
