Tanker Bow Wave
#1

Have just noticed this bug with the larger and medium sized tankers in Ship Pack 2, anyone know what causes it, can it be fixed ?

Does not happen with the small stock size tanker.

Does anybody know how that wash effect to the sides of the ships is created, that is the cause of the problem and the file name would be a good place to start if anyone knows.

Thanks for your help Erg - it has not solved the problem, but nice to see what you are doing and there are things in there I will try.

Hello, everyone

After my second visit to this topic, it came to my mind that this might be caused by a graphics card setting, such as in the Control Panel for example. Usually a blocky issue has to do with actually increasing one of the graphics settings.

We'll see.

I don't know RadPig. I've seen individual mods that are not rendered well with certain graphics settings. It's rare, but it does happen.

Sorry guys, different time zones, just got up and picked up on your replies, will have a look at hat later but one thing I noticed last night was if you look at that side wave effect it comes in 3 zones, one just after the bow wave, one in the middle of the ship and one towards the back. That's how it works on all models I think, except on the 2 tankers above where the forward one is about 3 mts ahead of the bows and the middle one appears to be almost on top of the rear wave effect, big gap in between.

I do not know how this works but assume it is something to do with the 2 models, a water mesh file or something is corrupted or not placed correctly, it looks ahead of where it should be on the model.

Using 32 bit 1024x768x32. So its not that.

Have tried adjusting my Card settings, no changes whatever I do there.

It has to be the basic model and how it renders the wave effects under the model, but I have no idea how to change that. Cry
