I experimented some more, and found out that the game works without flyby sounds when I delete/disable the samples and presets folder of the sound mod in the mods directory. I will now try to copy those files to the files folder, but I think the problem might lie somewhere else.
So nobody has had that problem yet?
Why the flyby(F3) sound Just 1 time?? when i turn around the Plane back in the "F3 screen" .. no engine sound anymore but GUN sounds ? is it just a fake Effect??
sorry for my bad ENGLISH
This is one beautiful mod. My f3 button has been used so much the 'f3' writing has worn off and the button is falling off. But I don't give a damn because this sounds so good 8)
Hi Tiger, I can't wait to try your mod, but I have a stupid question below:
I have UP2.0, and I went through all my Mod folder files/subfolders and backed-up and deactivated all preset and sample folders/files. I went through all the 1946/files folders/files and did the same, and located the .preload in there as well and also did the same. I made all the changes to my conf.ini that are required. I backed up and deactivated the buttons file in the Mod/gui/game (and the one in 1946/files also.
Question: do I also deactivate the "samples" folder in the root directory, the one that has all the speech and music files? I assume not, but the sound file in there has various airfield sounds, so I thought I better ask.
Thanks!
I have one bug, and I think we all have it, but Tiger is not responsible for it since it lies in the buttons file :
The Ta 152 has the Daimler-Benz engine sound of the 109s ...
Pleeeeeeeeeeeease would someone put this great mod on some other site a part from megaupload? I can't wait 24 hours!!!!!!! it's just too slow!!!!!
Thanks Tiger, I actually answered my own question after carefully re-reading the readme. But I get the "Paratrooper mesh" error in "Single Missions" and the "refererenced memory" failure error (with the listing of a string of numbers/letters) and a CTD when I try to use the QMBPro/Plus.
Help!
