This has been bugging me for a while,it does it in most of the games i play.The video card is a 7900gtx,any ideas anyone.

Looks like a problem with your graphics card to me - possibly the fan on your GPU is clogged with dust?

Taking out your card and giving it a once over with a soft brush or a can of compressed air might do the trick.

Thanks for the replies,I blew the card out yesterday hoping that would do the trick,I will try updating the drivers.

Is it only Il-2 problem or does some problems occur in other games too?

It does it in all games,I updated my graphics driver and so far all is good Thanks for the advise

Hi

I had this card for very long time, approx 4 years. Replaced with 8800gtx.

But you have a dammened good card & i only replaced because i got a good deal.

After much testing, the best drive which gave me very good reults for years was : 178.13.

Make sure you correctly remove all previous drivers & start clean with this one.

So once done , keep your confi file on 'medium' settings & download 'NHANCER', this tool will assist you in managing your card to get best performance, visual effects.
