Mixx wonderful map on aviaskins.com

It's Mixx remake of Murmansk map, new textures, newly (and looking very natural!) populated towns, villages, harbors and airfields, redone heights, it's less flat than the original. See pics here

The download link is at the end of the first post, anyway it is

Hat off to Mixx!

Thanks Istvan, I'll check that too!
Forgot to mention this Murmansk map is not replacing the original one, it's a new map.

In my opinion it's the best IL2 map I've seen till so far. And very detailed with all the objects in cities and harbours. Big Grin
I enjoy the landscape very much just by flying around without strafing, groundpounding or dogfighting...
Kapteeni showed us already this WIP map + link back in November:

Hehe, I've been almost almost one year offline, so I missed a lot. Though I'm not sorry I posted, this map deserves a big BUMP. Lejo I agree, if you score a map in terms of textures AND the way towns villages etc are populated it's one of the best, it just looks so real from all altitudes...

Hi'
I'm having trouble with the new version , getting this "Section (Map2D) not found in Maps(summer.41) MixxZapolare Mix-load.ini".
Do you have to remove the Beta version first ??
