From the original AEB+FB+PF+1946 cd...what's the progression of updates and installs to get to the new 409.m?

Install 1946 (containing every previous IL2 versions and upgrades) which is 407m, then patch to 408, then to 409m.

Did you make a TOTAL clean install ???
Check game folder so nothing was left behind.

yep...that did it...CLEAN install made the game SING. Thanks for the help
