I have for 3 days now and countless hours TRIED to get this new upgrade to work (4.09m.) It seemed simple just download 4.09 b1m, then download 4.09m. I have tried it everyway but Sunday and still it will only load to about 60%, then stop. I can see the screen shot of Fogotten Battles with 4.09m in the lower lefthand corner, then round about 60% it goes back to my deskstop. Ehg! What gives? I need someone that may have experience this to please help me. Thanks,

you have to install over 4.08

First off in order to get 4.09m to work .
It needs a CLEAN INSTALL.
That means disk 4.07m---Then Patch 4.08m----Then patch 4.09m.

NOTHING in the game fold to start with. 4.09b1m is a beta and does
NOT go in this install.

And then if you want mods either UP 2.0 or if you don't feel like getting such a big download go here http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1008.0.html Here is something the other guys failed to mention but if you are doing a bunch of uninstalling of the game,then make sure you go into program files and delete the game folder that is left behind after you do the uninstall,there just may be a corrupted file in there.Make darn sure you get a clean install,otherwise your just asking for trouble later down the road.

Restart your computer then play a game to see if it is ok.

If it works, and you want to install mods, install the mod-pack following ALL the
instructions by the book! don
