Wow good work mate!!! There was around a very nice beaufighter campaign in this map, I can't remember the name.

-Zo and Kapteeni for not respecting the prefix rule. I didn't know, didn't think, didn't figure... No excuses.
-To all if the path to viking's textures as written in the load.ini does not point to the correct location. I doubt viking changed the structure of his mod, and so I suspect I'm the only one to blame for placing the textures in a different folder in my _Tex folder.
I'll remove the download link and re-upload a corrected version very soon.
One of these days, I'll post something that works as intended the first time around, one of these days... *slaps self*
Gilb, that does look very good... Maybe it'll just be simple to use these textures (with Viking's permission of course)

Hi guys, looks great! I've been out of commission for a while (RL and all that). Sorry for the confusion re texture path - I had to change it to get the map moved out of beta.
I like the desaturated textures; redko also was doing some work on that. At some point I was thinking of updating the map using them but haven't really had time to do anything related to IL2 lately.
When I first did the El Alamein map I also retextured Sands of Time and added a bunch of stuff to hardcode the object sets for Blindman's Buzzards Nest missions (part of the 2 Minutes to Action series) turning them into a QMB mission pack. Never thought to release it though.
