The NAV-LIGHTS are BACKWARDS!!!
#31

Nav lights are so dim in HSFX I'm surprised you even noticed they were on. Probably why its taken this long for anyone to bring it up.

Mine all show "red port etc." in HSFX 4.1 ; so I guess it must be some added mod on top of that.

All right lady's, stop getting your nickers in a twist here. Chill out.

Right, HSFX nav lights. Yes! they look horrible. But maybe if you used search, There are already threads with fixes. If failing that. Go to their website and talk to them

People here and AAA had nothing to do with HSFX, and especially UP. So dont go taking it out on us.

Next time. I would like to suggest you take a better attitude to your post. Monguse already edited your first post, and you saw what people responded to you with.

Be more wise, and polite next time when posting, other wise your threads would end up being locked. With or without no answer.

Ciphy has spoken.

Yer absolutely right sir. the lack of realism in this sim is getting greater and greater daily with these kinds of findings. I was flying a JU52 last night with a stick of paratroopers and realised it was totally and utterly illegal for me to be doing such a thing when everyone knows a weather radar is required for a trip when flying PART 135 at night with that many people in the back. Sorry my fellow Fallschirmj

the one who did the nav. lights backwarts really isn't a noob, i think it's really difficult to change the position or colour of the nav lights, and you can't fix it yourself  so you are a bigger noob, because you can't do it.

What you should have done was when you first saw the problem you should have politly notifyed monguse or another modder to fix the mistake... Don't go blameing other people for not noticeing it
Your Right I dont know how to do this, but first I would like all to CHECK your plane lites in game
and SEE.
I did and mine are CORRECT. Maybe some are colour blind who knows.
What is wrong with this?

yeah, thats right... I'm color blind, and so are the other people here that are watching these screenshots but dont know what to make of them

** You know whats great about this forum.. ? Everone is just competing with one another to try to come up with the best smart-ass remarks, comments, comebacks, insults etc... but no-one can actually come up with a practical solution to this problem...
And if you're gonna do a MOD,.. do it properly,.. or dont do it at all

What mod are you using that's causing this problem you have? Is it AAA1.27, HSFX4.1, UP2.0, or some SAS mod? If you could tell us which mod you are using we could direct you to the correct forum to get the answer you seek or to harass the correct people.

Disable any light mods you have?

Ultrapack 2.0... but I had the same problem when using HSFX previously
I would like the people who are using these mods to tell me if they have the same problem

I use HSFX 4.1 and when I noticed that my nav lights were rediculously dim, I installed the Stock Navlights mod and have no problems. My lights are in the correct positions. So I'm thinking it may be that whoever made the HSFX mods to begin with got them mixed up.

Edit.
Just cranked up UP2.0 and I have NOT installed the Stock Navlights mod there and my lights are in the correct position. Red to port and green to starboard. The only thing that comes to mind is that maybe there is a mods conflict with your install.

Have you checked your wingtip smokes to see if they're reversed too?

*As posted earlier mine are correct in HSFX 4.1*

ok, just checked all my installs:

4.09m Stock - Lights work fine
4.09m HSFX 4.1 - Lights work fine
4.09m UP2.0 w/ UP 2.0 fix thing - lights work fine
4.09m UI 1.1 & 1.2 - Lights work fine

no i didnt go thru and check all my planes, but when i did, i checked ALL the spits, since he posted his original pic using a spit i found something very very interesting, at least to me, that made me wonder...

All my spits both stock & modded ... worked like a charm, Red to port and green to starboard and white on the tail.

Since it works fine for EVERYONE but you, thats why we noobs didnt realize it until your awesomeness brought this terrible problem to our attention.

i agree with what US_Grant previously stated:

Perhaps the problem was overlooked, but it seems that the lights are correct on my game, at least with the couple of different planes i selected.

Your remind me of another person who once roamed these forums calling everyone a n00b for their hard work and cursing up a storm...just for your information, HE IS BANNED. Since you claim to have taken the courses required for the commerical license, it shows your most likely an adult, how about you start acting like one.

I tought people here on this forum were experts in aviation, expecially those designing mods...
How can serious error like this be unnoticed by hundreads of people who play this game and who visit this forum daily???

Its like painting the traffic lights pink, white and blue, and no driver notices.. or does something about it

I sort of thought you were not a particularly intelligent person (see your famous post about "what is the best of these 3 planes"), but as that was not enough, it turns out you are also an arrogant prick! U r not the first one to have noticed this btw, the only difference is that others who did kept it quiet and polite, unlike you..Un-friggin-believable!!!

Uh and for your information, this thing probably passed unnoticed to most because most of the people fly in daytime config, and even when they fly at night they keep their formation lights off, this is no Microsoft Flight Simulator you know?
