Hello,

I don't really know if this belongs here... well, after all it is a kind of "modification".
I wanted to replace the lame stock background music with better ones, like "Farewell of Slavianka" for the Russians or "Lili Marleen" for the Germans.

The problem is, well, I converted both into .wav files, but it won't play Lili Marleen! The russian one works perfectly.O_o Does it have to do anything with the length of the track, maybe? (it's somewhat shorter than 3 minutes)

Okay now, I've downloaded the WavePad sound editor and made it a wav if the 11025 Hz, Mono, 16-bit format.
So, if I use this as "de.wav", one thing happens - immedate, complete crash of the whole PC when the music is supposed to play in the game.

I checked the "Farewell of Slavianka" one, and it's rate is 44100 Hz! And it's playing flawlessly! How is this possible? There's got to be another reason for the file not to play.

I really wonder what's the cause for the game refusing to play this song... waybe it doesn't want for ideological reasons!
I hope someone knows the truth to this mystery.
