Is there a way to permanently turn off the auto correct function in Microsoft word? My dad cant stand it, and each time he turns it off, a few months later it turns back on again, by its self. Is there a way to totally disable it on his laptop?
Start Word.
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options.
Click Proofing, and then click AutoCorrect Options.
On the AutoCorrect tab, click to select or to clear the check boxes for the options that you want to enable or disable. After you do this, you can format these items manually.
Click OK two times.
Would this work? I did it on mine, and it worked.
