IMHO, we really don't need more of them. One naval version, this one and maybe the Avia Mezec would be fully sufficient. Aside of that, modders are probably starting to run out of versions to import

that is what i wanted to say but didn't have the heart ...

i really don't want to see any more Bf-109G-2/U34-2As or 109K-22NTs with a taped on Browning .50 that Heinz found in the mud outside his barracks or whatever else people think might have existed in the 109 family. someone should start making a whole crap-load of IL2's or some other 'step-child' airplanes in this sim. btw...still waiting on, lets see, a LANC, a DO-17, an early B-24, etc etc. i know people are working on such things, i just see more of a need for things like that than a long-winged 109 that didnt do a thing during the war.

and i really don't think we need a Hispano-version 109....what are we going to do with it? make WW2 movies with it as a stand-in cuz we dont have a real 109? :lol: :wink:

I think the same about the exatly versions like you said it. so I already started renaming my bf-109.

For example the Bf-109G-14orig did i renamed to Bf-109V-12
Or the Spitfire Mk.I BoB to Type-224 (Prototype)
Or a Hurricane i have twice. One was renamed to IK.3

I am not one to say too much, except in trying to help people out.
Just why do we need more bf-109's or fw-190's? We have tons of
bf-109's and fw-190's! What we need is some Brits Bombers and
and other type of aircrafts that haven't been done yet, and some
more USAAF Bombers which Monguse is working on, the B-24D,
B-26. Thats all I have to say on that.

apart from the navalised 109 and its stuka equivelant surely we have enough of the damn things now ....

i'd love to see more of the missing aircraft made, not variants but whole new types.....

without sounding as though I'm coming down on the whole 109 thing, but recently there has been a huge spate of why is this variant missing etc.....for more than just the 109.... hock:

P.S. This is not to say that I don't appreciate all the hard work of the modders. I do. It's just that there are so many aircraft that are not yet in the game at all and that are sorely missed.

Keep in mind that 1946 is a "What If" game. Hispano's and Avia's and He-100's and Fw-187's and Me- p1112's and Ki-83's and B-36's and Ki-57's and A6M8's and P-56's and whatever else is welcome as far as I am concerned.

No one likes skinning 109's than myself, however I think we have all the varients we need to fly in WWII .

Yeah! There were a number of one of a kind experiments that were dropped like the H because they were dogs.
For the most part they were deemed useless and a waste of money.
No one knows for sure all these years later if the Bf109 K6 ever flew in combat let alone the K14 which did not.
Now if you asked for a Martin Maurader I would say Yessiree!!
I'm heading out to the Pacific soon. Bags packed. Thats going to be a real skinners heaven for me
