To install mods you need to have a mod base or a mod pack. There are lots of different mod packs around, for example HSFX and Ultrapack. Personally I prefer Ultrapack as it contains HSFX and some other mod packs.

Sorry man you will not be able to install mods.To be able to install mods you have to have a copy of IL2-1946.

Thanks for the addition Gumpy. Mods will work only with Il-2 1946. It is quite cheap and you can still find it from most shops.

To play online you need hyperlobby. You can get it from here
i must install first patch v 4.08m or v 4.08 next v 4.09m or v 4.09??

Do not install it... It is old and not supported anymore. Download UltraP@ck 2.0 :wink:
