CTD with HSFX 4.11 installed
#1

Ok, here's the deal. I had HSFX 4.11 installed and running along with some other mods such as Effects High, Dgen offline, 6DOF, Zuti 1.08, Hakencruz enabler, immersive hud, perfect map textures, carrier take off and so on.

It was working great offline. So I wanted to play online, found out I had to disable all those mods and enable 4.09 stock mod. No problems. Then I went to enable all the mods again. (I'm enabling HSFX 4.11 first, then Dgen and so on.)

Now I can get into the game, start a mission and the game CTD with some file errors that can't be "read".

I'm thinking that a file went missing somewhere when i disabled 4.11, but I'm not sure. I can't find the readme's for it. I also couldn't find another topic like the problem I'm having.

I can run the game still with 4.09 stock mod enabled and any other mods. To test this I enabled ONLY HSFX 4.11 and I get the CTD. The CTD happens as soon as you start the mission. I have tested this both in QMB and FMB. Same results, different aircraft.

Apologies if I couldn't find the thread relating.

EDIT: Sorry, it was zuti 1.01, NOT 1.08.

Have you tried asking about this over at the 242 Squadron site? They might know what to do about this.

YES! I actually found the problem. I noticed that when I was trying to fly a single mission MissionProPal was installed, but I never activated through JSFGME (or whatever it's called) I thought that was weird so I decided to check the mods folder. Low and behold I had MissionProPal and Zuti 1.12 in there. Moved those two out of the mods folder and renamed my MODS folder to -MODS. (just in case)

I read that zuti 1.12 was not compatible with HSFX. This I believe was my problem and thus the CTD. I'm too excited to play and I don't like to play daredevil with this kind of stuff so I'll just blame it on Zuti 1.12.

I have found that Zuti 1.12 works OK with 4.11. But you should never put it into your mods folder- put it into the jsgmemods folder and activate it using JSGME, that way you can disable it if it causes problems.

I did that now. So you got Zuti 1.12 to work okay with HSFX 4.11? I haven't tried it yet, I just read that they probably weren't compatible. I will have to try that now.
