Hi, I have recently re-installed everything onto my new pc....upto 4.09bm woth the unified installer and everything has worked great for a week. However I turned on this morning and I seem to have lost all sound from within the cockpit!!

All the music etc still plays fine during the gui interface, but as soon as I enter a mission and sit in the aircraft.....nothing?

any ideas?

if its true you are using 4.09bm that might be your problem....you need to be using 4.09m. the other one is a beta patch.

Just re-checked.....it is version 4.09bm1 from the aaa installer version 1.1.......apart from 4.08 etc I have no other options for a 4.09m (non beta).....have I got an old aaa installer version somehow?

Well, U.I. 1.1 is outdated, but that would not cause this problem.
Check your in game sound settings, that you haven't got one of the volume knobs turned way down.

Look in ...\files\Samples and make sure there are .wav files there.

Have you installed any new mods that required you to install new buttons?

Is it just in cockpit sounds, or everything?
