Awesome work, this is much appreciated as I am a Kiwi and admire the man Al Deere. Will be hopping over to M4T to grab this.

I've been waiting for a good campaign to make full use of the Channel map. This is it: Christmas in February. The details in the missions are world-class.

Everything looks and run beautifully but only for the first mission. When you start the second mission after the loading ,as soon as the image of the plane comes out ,it explodes and cannot continue the campaign.Any fix?

Hi Stratodog, thank you very much for your hard work into this new campaign, I'll run to D/L right now and possibly I'll report back you here or at M4T Wink. Regards and thank again.

Thanks guys.

TICI - I've got no idea what could be happening or what fix would help.

Nightjar - As great as HSFX is, it doesn't have Kwiatek's updated BoB flight models. I never tried it on an HSFX install, but I doubt it would work.

First of all I'm running everything on HSFX 4.11 and all the campaigns so far for both UP 2.0 and HSFX are running very well with the higest settings !!. I installed this campaign without problems,I played the first mission (Beautifull !! nice work) flawless, then when I proceed to the second mission at the start seemed like the 3 planes collided and exploded .You can see the debris on the runway of the 3 ? planes. It seems like there is an issue with the positioning of the planes at the start of the second mission.
Again keep in mind that I'm running HSFX 4.11 but everything runned very well in the firts mission and all the skins are there. So I don't think is an HSFX issue.
Hopefully you will find a solution beacuse I really like your work.

Hello TICI,

Thanks for your info. I just tried mission #2 with my HSFX 4.1 install and it failed loading because there was no "air.BF_109E4_BoB", so I'm not sure how you are getting the mission to load at all. Does the 4.11 install have the Bf-109-E4_BoB ? If so, then I've no idea why the planes are colliding.

I'm baffled.

Will these campaigns work with just U.I. up through 1.1? I can't get my game reinstalled using the DVD, in Windows 7. It just won't work. I've tried everything that I know, besides what I have read as far as recommendations. Therefore, I can't start from scratch and work up to the UP 2.0 I don't guess. Any thoughts?

Where do you look for the air.BF_109E4_BOB ?.
By the way the mission # 2 loads normally,I just cannot start it because the planes collides immediately at start, after that I can continue to look around and see enemy aircrafts via ctrl+F2 etc. and everythign looks and run normal.I wish I had my plane to finish or bypass this mission and continue the campaign.Waiting for your reply.
Thanks

The "air.BF_109E4_BoB" is how the aircraft is noted in the actual .mis mission file. If you open the file with notepad you'll find it. If you eliminate the _BoB from the end of the name it will load the stock Bf-109-E4. There are _BoB aircraft in almost every mission. They are 'new slot' aircraft with Flight Models done by Kwiatek specifically for UP2.0 These aircraft are why the campaign was designed and intended for UP2.0 If you went through every mission file, looked for the planes that ended with _BoB and eliminated that text, then it might work on HSFX, but I've never tried it and have no intent on doing the task, plus there may be other compatibility issues that I'm not aware of.

Cheers and good luck.

I know it may seem a strange request but since i have too much trouble using the english channel map, in particular the long loading time, is it possible to make these missions to be flown on canon BETA channel map, and if yes how? thanks

~S~!

Thanks for all your work in putting this together for the community.

My UP2.0n install loaded Mission 1, showing the map properly on the briefing screen, but gave a "Mission loading failed: null" message. When I tried it again, the grid and some icons showed but the map itself was all black.

When I opened the mission in FMB, the map was again all black although the waypoints and flightpaths were visible. Console showed "Internal Error: Can't load HIM 3do/Tanks/Matilda_UK/hier.him". A search of the whole game gave no result. Where would I be able to obtain this file, please?

I just checked the mission file and notice a number of Zuti entries. Must the Zuti MDS mod be enabled for this to work correctly? If so, which version?

Thanks in advance for any help---really looking forward to flying this series.

~S~ and Cheers!

It is possible to bypass mission # 2 ? And if so how?. I don't think is the Bf_109 E4_bob. The campaign installed, loaded and played the first mission without a glitch .If the issue was the planes in the mission files it should have been detected from the very beginning but everything worked fine until the start of mission # 2.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks
