Just in case you do not have the 2 Josse's mods which are required, i.e. the Curtiss H-75A-2 and Mohawk IV (download links in the read-me maybe obsolete), please go and take them there, on the C6 FTP:

ftp://checksix-fr.com/FB/Mods/Josse/

For the Curtiss H-75A-2, direct download here:

ftp://checksix-fr.com/FB/Mods/Josse/MOD-H75A2.rar

And for the Mohawk IV:

Happy flying guys!

Which modded map did U use?

This package uses 6 modded maps:

1) The Normandy map with a Southern England coast: Fly_Zo's BoB map with new textures by Compans, GilB57, etc.

2) The Abyssinia map by Kapteeni

3) A variant of the above adapted for Tunisia

4) A Sicily map derivated from the Crimea map, by Fly_Zo with textures from the Malta map by Maraz

5) A Sands of Time map with different textures, by vpmedia

6) Another Sands of Time map with different textures (variant) by vpmedia

As you know the idea is to "trick DGen" using variants of existing maps with eventually different topography, different elevation, textures and colors, but always the same coordinates and elevation for airfields.

To be discovered... in action!

Great add-on let me first say. That said, I'm flying the "For The Honor of French Wings" dgen campaign first since it has the widest variety of plane availability of all the campaigns. I noticed that any missions generated that do not have an air-start wind up crashing the game with an error message. I've gotten around it by redoing campaign.ini file to replay the previous mission, but it is a pain in the posterior. This was using the update before the ultimate edition. I'm d'loading the ultimate edition and will give that a try to see if the effect is the same. Otherwise, any help on this would be appreciated.

After hundreds of missions generated, I did not experience this type of problem. :-? I'll try to help you.

You may have a file about such errors in your game root folder: DGenERRORlog. If you have one, please post it.

Or is it a memory error? In that case it may be due to the high load on your hardware. Please reduce air intensity and ground intensity: these are DGen parameters in conf.ini for which I give some advice in the main Read-Me (Campaign settings, page 3): the higher the settings, the more planes and ground targets, the more stress on your PC. More can be found here:

http://mission4today.com/index.php?name ... how&kid=28

Do you have a log.lst file? Please post it as well. :?:

Another possibility: a missing plane mod or object or something lacking in your install, which makes the game crash: please check that you can fly in QMB all planes listed in the Read-Me. Please also check that you can open in your FMB the mission files where you had problems: these are located in your Missions/campaign/FR/dgen_C_xxxxyyyy folder. :!: You may also send me a small zip containing such folder; I will test the missions and try to identify the problem. My e-mail address is at the end of the Read-Me.

I apologize for the delay in response, but I wanted to see if there were any commonalities to the glitch. First, it IS a memory reference error. I don't have the exact memory locations offhand. The other commonality is it occurs at the airfield in the northwest corner of the Ardennes map. I am about 20 missions into the campaign and transitioned into part 2 with no problems. Now I have only the northwest corner of the map and the latest error occured on an airstart mission over the aforementioned airfield. I'll try to save the memory error msg and post it.

Here's the only dgen error log I have:

There is no DGen error: your file shows the mission has been generated properly: "mission done".

Your memory issue may be related to an excess load on your system due to the number of objects and planes over the airfield, but it is strange. Could you post or send me your mission file(s) which cause your trouble? These are .mis files.

E-mailed you copies of the offending mission files and sent along couple of pics from the Big Pow-Wow that happens here every April. Like These:

Thanks M8!

I tested all the missions and found no anomaly. No problem whatsoever: all missions loaded and played smoothly. Maybe you can also test them, in single mission mode. My guess is that you may have missing objects in your static.ini, or the load on your PC is excessive, but I doubt it. Anyway this is not a DGen or campaign problem. You may identify the problem by launching the missions in single mode and check the console, and/or your log.lst file, to identify a java code error, which would happen if you have objects missing.

Nice pictures, thanks!

Have a nice week-end.
