hey guys,

I wonder if the gunfire effects included in the hsfx 4.1 mod could be changed to look more realistic at night, where it still uses the original gunfire from il2, but far too big in my opinion.
I love the 110 G-4 nightfighter and nightmissions, would really be great if I had the same detailed gunfire there
any idea how I can fix this?
sry if you already discussed this, I didn't find anything in my search.

What do you mean "to look more realistic at night"? As known, nightfighters had flame arresters on the gun barrels to have minimum flame when firing.

So a mod should give the effect of no flame I think and but as I know there is no such a mod.

Yes but the gunfire at night WILL look a lot more bright than at night.
