Thanks for the link! One guy went into a airplane graveyard and bought the cockpit of a 747. He attached it into his house and now he has a simulator there!

That must be a fascinating place to visit. Personally I can't help feeling a little saddened that these expensive warbirds are sat there getting bleached by the sun. Okay, all it's all down to politics and at least the cold war never turned hot.

Hello, This reminded me of the good ole days while stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB, My job at the time was cuting down all the tumble weeds in the whole dang place! and too, spent many hours inside these awesome birds. time there was 1970 to 1972 then to Anderson AFB Guam for a little over 2 years, wounderful, miss it.
