Wow Confusedhock: Fantastic, max! I can hardly wait!

Would it be possible to have a version of red 8 with the following swastika? I just love the broken swastika.

[Image: detail_me262b_19.jpg] (picture from real red-8 as it is painted now).

I don't know if it is accurate, but I like the easthetics (I'd love to have a non-marked version as well -for default  ) .
I know I am not in position to make requests  I mean, it is just a wish Smile You decide, of course.

Kind regards,

czk

The segmented swastika is also visalbe on 'Red 3', so theres a good bet they all were like that.

The images do raise some concerns about the skinability of the new cockpit area, I do hope the proper lines can be added in the finished version and not just have a stretched version of the A skin file.

Im also assuming the canopy bars will be added before release

It's own skin map isn't entirely nessecary, if you find exactly where it starts to stretch you could compress the pattern in that area so that when stretched it looks fine...would look a little odd if someone used the skin on single seater version but then thats their problem

BTW Max, nice skins mate Big Grin

Its the panel lines im thinking about Will, the camo wont be as much of an issue

Good observation. I also hope it can get improved, but there are worse cases. I recall many incredible Hs129 skins getting completely ruined by a similar problem on the mapping of Hs129. The top always get awfully stretched: very ugly when you apply mottled camo patterns, looks like supermarket bar-code lines  very sad.

Many thanks, Phas3e for the extra info on segmented swastika Smile

Thanks for your replies guys and gals.
I want to get your feedback on them before I finish them off.
They will be available with markings and unmarked skins.

Good sugestion on the "sliced" swastika. I will add them to the marked skins.

I have tried a number of tecniques so the paint will not stretch in certain areas, but there are just
certain things that are unavoidable and will not look as we wished it would. Sorry.

It all depends now on the Mad Scientists to finish up this lovely warbird, so we can
all have some great adventures.
