What is the most maneuverable fighter at low altitudes?
I am just interested in peoples' opinions--just curious.
I suggest the Yak-3, which I have been flying lately.
Me-163 is an excellent Low Altitude High speed Performer and I can outturn and out gun several aircraft online. And that smoke/Exhaust will blind any aircraft on your 6.
My suggestion is Bf-109 F4.
i like the latest tempest, i think it feels good and has a good number of cannons.
F-86 is a really fast rolling plane, turn rate is good

If we're really just talking about maneuverability, I'd rather think that the I-16 will be on pole, at least in the way it's implemented in IL-2.

I-153 can turn on a rubel.
The gladiator will out turn...well...pretty much everything really.
Ki27 and A5m are extremely maneuverable and are often under estimated too.
The I-153 hands down. It's a go-cart with wings and a prop.
