There is a way...

Every bomberdair cockpit has a speed gauge that shows TAS and IAS. You could use them, but since I don't think the Fw200 has a bomberdair cocpit, you might use this method:

Enter your height and indicated airspeed into the bombsight then look through the sight and rise it. Choose a "dummy target" somewhere on the ground and when it comes by turn on the bombsight automation. Then just increase/decrease the airspeed untill the bombsight appears to be centered on that target. Don't do it for too long or your plane could automatically drop bombs when it reaches the calculated angle. When the target you chosen appears to be stationarry on your bombsight you probably hit the true airspeed.

If the Fw200 has a sight without the automation option, use the bombsight table, there is nothing you can do. Sad

I had been an avid user of the Bomb Table for years! But having just switched to Win7 I have discovered it has a problem with that OS. It cannot display on top of 1946. When you hit the SHF-Break it behaves that same as a ALT-TAB and you are at the desktop. You then have to ALT-TAB back into the game . . . and I have to play with SHF-A a couple of times before I get full control of my plane back Sad I am very bummed about this. I have found no real good solution yet either.

That said . . . I had not seen the other bombsight the gentleman earlier in this thread has posted the link for. Looks like it may be well worth looking at!

Another tool you should look for is THORS BOMBING GUIDE. Google it and you should find a URL. Its a very well written document on how to fly, bomb, and survive.

Good luck . . and see ya in the skies!

W7 dang... not got IL2 installed on this rig yet. Guess it'll be dual boot with XP or windowed mode.
(TIR2 not supported either!)
