Hyperlobby loading issue: "Please Wait"
#1

I posted this in the il2 technical discussion forum but no go so im trying here. Hyperlobby worked fine ever since i remember untill one day, i connected to a room, it opened il2 and then jammed on the please wait window. iv tried waiting upto an hour but it just stays there and each time i have to exit using the task manager. Iv tried reinstalling hyperlobby and removing the firewall but it doesnt help. Ive seen this problem posted in different sites but each time noone knows whats the problem. Help would be appreciated.

This, most likely, has nothing to do with Hyperlobby.

For someone to help diagnose this, it would help to know which server(s) you have the problem with, and what Game Version/Mod Pack/Mods you are using.

I get the issue with all the games that i try to connect to.

Try PLAIN 4.09m in a server With all mods disabled
with the JSGME. Then see what happens.

Also, try a direct IP connection, but I expect same result.

So it sticks at "Please Wait", and you never get a "Timeout" message?

If you have Hamachi installed, or any similar virtual LAN software, then I suggest disabling that. It prevented me from joining from my present location.

Are there any other clients that i may use? My system seems to have AIDs or something. I dont think its gonna be fixed.

Can you tell more about your setup? I.e. router or not, O/S?
I recall you were talking about setting up a server recently...did that ever happen?
Can you post the [Net] section from your conf.ini here?
