Glider Towing Wire

I have created a glider towing mission

i fly the zwilling (i have the MOD which make it flyable) towing the G11 glider

when the game starts i cant see the wire which tow the glider. (i can see the triangular wire part in the zwilling )
and after few seconds the glider start to fall free.


(i know how to tow a glider and i have done it right thats sure)

Do you have enough waypoints for the glider, and are all of them attached to the zwilling with the "target" thing?

Single player, Coop, or dogfight mission?
Why not copy and paste your .mis file contents here so we can look at it?

once you successfully built the mission

i remember i made the tow cable cuttable ages ago,
while gliders FM is still pretty ugly i'm just nosy if someone ever used it

i'd appreciate if someone report this

Actually, there was a whole host of problems with gliders which I hoped to see somebody tackle, but I did not see that it ever went anywhere. Where is your mod, and does it work for dogfight servers?

BTW: the G-11 FM is sweet...not ugly at all!

i just added couple of lines to allow pilot in the glider cut the tow cable by moving the thrust over 90% value

it'd be included in Ultrapack by default while its just an addon...
too much time has past i need to check if stil there or gone lost
i'd still have it somewhere

it affects every existing glider

i never tried do this but
is it possible to pilot towed gliders in a dogfight ?
i meant ... how does the spawn works ?

My mistake...been so long, I think it was COOP I was using, not dogfight. Some things worked in Single Player, but in a COOP all kinds of problems cropped up.

I'll try some things in UP and see if it is there.

you'd be able see if is there just by go pilot a glider towed and pull the thrust knob to full power

don't hesitate contact me if you can't find it

EDIT: you're right i tried 321 FM and seems to me not so nice as the japanese glider one (anyway i'm not pilot and i'm not habit discuss FM)
