gunsight reticle
#1

Hello, ive been watching some il2 movies lately and notices that the gunsight (not gyro) shifts when the plane maneuvers. How come my gunsight reticles just stay in one place and do this? Is this a mod? If so, where can i get this? Thanks!!

Why on earth has a thread asking a simple question turned into a "Down load this mod pack!!11!"

Guys, in future. keep it TOO topic. And for an answer, dont just throw a link for a mod pack. Its pointless and it probably wont solve the problem. If I see people continually doing it I'll start deleting their posts.

SFS packed mods, really fast,
Easy to install and use, you do only need to specify path and press install,
UI 1.2 and HSFX 4.1 are included with UP.

Do I need to say more? Big Grin

Do you mean they are repacked and put in there  Honestly, everyone talks as though UP is some god-send when really that is what it is. But each to his own.
If you want to talk UP and everything, then talk about it at the UP site. I have no issue with the pack, but it annoys me with all these posts talking about UP when this is AAA  8)

Anyway, no mods will do the trick as Cipher said. Just enable head-shake.

Gents, it's getting rather stupid - questions like "why does my head not shake" do NOT warrant another modpack discussion for crying out loud. UP no matter what wonders it does include is NOT the god-given answer to every little technical issue and further more people install it and then come back asking the same bloody questions but for UP anyway. Result? Another little kick between the legs for those who still mod at aaa and wasted bandwidth becasue the same questions continually get asked. Recommending getting any new mod pack as an answer to a simple technical problem is just plain stupid. A single edit to the conf.ini or a toggle switched in the options menu is a damn site more appropriate than spending many hours downloading all the parts of a mod pack needed to install that pack. To recommend any in such a situation is just silly. Give it a rest.

Annoying the annoying, so you don't have to.

Unfortunately the 6DOF mod will prevent reticle movement too. That's why I don't use 6DOF.

If anyone is still interested in this there is a new mod at SAS that will allow 6DOF and head movement now.
