I'm playing a couple of great campaigns which are pure heaven, esp. with my upgraded RAM and GPU. After completing my 28th mission in the P-38 today, I'm becoming very bothered by the AI P-38s ramming other A/C roughly 8 out of every 10 missions (not with me yet, because I'm never the element leader). Today, in what should have an easy fun attack on some low bandits, in the span of exactly 8 seconds, two AI wingmen rear-ended their leaders. They were in level flight, after coming out of a shallow dive, not in a firing position. I'm using the April 15 SAS buttons with the SAS complete P-38 package; Certificate AI. I'm wondering if I have something messed up.

Hi, I find that with a close formation this tends to happen. Are you commanding anyone to "close formation"? You may try to command a loose formation, especially if your lining up on a target or making a turn into a different flight path. I do know that turning in formation is a difficult maneuver especially a sudden or tight turn. Replay and record the track to see what those dopes are trying to do.

At the 1:05 mark, #8 flies into #7, then #2 takes out #1. This sort of "accidents" don't ever seem to happen with other fighter types. Any other suggestions welcomed!
