I have been enjoying IL-2 via my Steam account for some time now, but it the time has come, and I would like to modify it. Does anyone know how to best mod it whilst running it from steam? There are multiple folders and it's all very confusing. Thanks!
I have the steam version and all you gotta really know is where to put the mods.
the normal path would be like c:/program files/ubisoft/il2
steam path is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\il 2 sturmovik 1946
makes sure that's yours, then just install the mods by changing the path to that.
Edit: oh yeah, and i use HSFX 4.1 with it, runs great. I used to use UP, but ive had lots of problems with it, so i switched to HSFX.
