First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has ever had any part in putting this Website together and all the friendly advice that you can get at this site. I am coming back to Il2 after a year layoff of taking care of personal business. But, I am glad to be back in the game.

My question is: Is Tiger_33 Ultimate Sound Mode included in HSFX 4.11? If it is, what folder is it in and where and if it is not, where to I put it.

Frankly, I'd like to see a compiled updated version with all the fixes, with re-written instructions for installation, that are like a notepad file. The original text was a large garb mess when trying to open in notepad (don't have word) Hell maybe even an autoinstaller would be nice.

It's not in HSFX.

With regards to installation, I just put the presets and samples folders in my mods folder (in a new folder) and then added the fly-by's if I felt like it.

The Tiger sound mod in not here I think.
You'll need to go here:

The easiest way I found to install is to make a folder called Mods an drop it into your main game folder.
Place Tiger sound mod into it, as your game will read everything in the mods folder first.

Read, Read, Read the instructions that you get with Tigers Sound Mod I can't stress this enough or you'll screw yourself.

There is also a patch for the sound mod done by SAS, because you may lose the outside engine sound on a couple of planes
on orignal install, this corrects that.

It's easy once you understand it and you'll love it.

'Scuse double post, but I just tried the install linked above (so I installed the mod this time in JSGME and removed the previous one from my mods folder) and whilst everything works fine, my cannons are barely audible when in the outside view because my engine noise is so loud. Does anyone know how to edit sound files to make guns louder? As I wanted to make the canons louder anyway These are the hispano's on the mark VB spit BTW

Slightly OT here, if you don't have Word you can use Open Office http://www.openoffice.org/ it's free and will open many applications including Word, also you can check out Notepad++ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm another useful app for text editing.

Any similar programs for editing .wav files? I want to change the volume of the external Hispano's so that they're louder

I did the install and everything works great, but one thing. That is the wingfold sound. I could not hear anything. So, my question would be, is the wingfold sound modded in Tiger_33 Mod? Because I get engine, flaps, canopy sounds, all great by the way. If anyone should have a suggestion, it would greatly appreciated.
