I'm planning to buy a new 22-23" LCD monitor, around 250$ (in Hungarian Forints).
Is there a certain type that you would recommend? LG, Samsung, BENQ, which one do you prefer?
All the LCD's that are out now are pretty damn good. I would go for the one that has the connectors you want, stand adjustability and meets your budget. I have a pair of Samsungs at home and use Dell displays at work and they are equivalent. 22-23 inch wide is a nice size. I wouldn't buy anything less than that.
There are only a handful of actual LCD panel makers in the world. All the OEMs buy their panels from the same folks, so there is not a lot to really differentiate between them.
I recently bought a SAMSUNG from the syncmaster series, 22inches. Its pretty good and the price was ridiculous
hi there i use a 28 inch hanns.g monitor, you should take a look at their website
I've got an Insignia 32" 1080P LCD HDTV (actually made by LG) ... Insignia is Best Buys own brand. I'm Using an HDMI cable and an adapter to hook it to the DVI port on my video card.
It works great for IL2 and for all other projects internet, spreadsheet, etc. you can open two windows side by side and its like having two regular sized monitors.
I paid $399 (US) for the monitor and about $75 for both the HDMI cable and the DVI to HDMI adapter. A little pricy, but I feel it's the best upgrade I've made to my computer system.
I have the Hanns G 28" Love IT!
I tried a 26" LCD TV and then a 32". the 26" was too bright (took it back) the 32" is Way to big for the area. (took it back too)
The 28" is purrrrfect, I had to do some "surgery" to my "Play area" to make it fit.
Got it from New Egg online, I have had it for 3 months now, no dead pixels - It needed some adjusting and at first is was a tad frustrating because it was so different but now I "RULE"
too bad I keep getting shot down :~(
Go and buy it.....Really....Its worth the extra $$
I use a 32 inch phillips lcd/hd now that is a picture
