I'm trying to get my PunkBuster to work for my COD4 and guess what I saw.

My Vista won't let me touch the "Run as Adminstrator" checkbox.

I have the UAC disabled and I'm the only user and the admin as well. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? It's getting quite frustrating already... It also applies to all other programs

It may depend on whether the game is installed in the prgram-files section

So I can't execute games as an Admin if they are in the program files section? O_o

Well, when i had Il-2 installed in there with Vista, I couldn't even edit the conf.ini so that may be so...

Check and make sure you're trying to run the actual .exe file as admin and not the shortcut.
Also ensure you're logged in with a normal account and not a limited account.

That was it, I remember trying to do this for BoB2 and i could only make it work with the actual .exe
It makes sense when you think about it
