A bit of Puerto Rico flying

Well, nothing special, just wanna share my sympathy for this map-

I know I have a dedicated new Thunderbolt pit somewhere downloaded, but this one is fun as well..

That was just the east shore of Puerto Rico, a very beautiful map. I love how the artist managed village to landscape and airbase to landscape transitions.

Ir really burns me up that those darn Nazis are attacking Puerto Rico!

Cool pics, man.

I love this map too.

I often fly routine (& relaxing) C-47 airline missions from one end of the island to the other.

Map maker did an amazing job

That should do it....there are some nice mountains in the center of that map and it looks just beautiful from high altitude as well.

Nice pics. What is that sabre skin?

That's a German Air Force skin of one of the first fighters the Luftwaffe got after WWII. I downloaded 2 of those, one light metallic one and this green one.
ATM I forgot where I downloaded it, either here or at SAS, but I can pm it to you once I got it.
Cheers-

Smiling Big Grin Nice compliments indeed. I tried hard to match ground textures so that they look more blended. It's a small map and I practically went over ever square mile fixing things. You might notice the roads where I tried to align them with roads already on textures. Did the best I could doing that with city textures also.

I also enjoy just flying over this map. I'm very proud of it. I neglected posting more screenshots and it's nice to see yours. I'll be posting more when I get new PR campaigns posted very soon. I think everyone will enjoy these PR campaigns over nice scenery, if I might humbly say so myself.

I almost forgot about that twin-heinkel in your screenshot! Nice to see it. I also like the look of post-war German sabres. Well, all Sabres look nice in any country's colors haha!
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for making this beauty!! Big Grin

I noticed the perfection of the roads and the natural blending of city to landscape sections. The airbases have a very realistic look as well.
Look forward to your campaign project!

Cheers..
