OpenGL problem

I have this wierd isssue with my water and graphics in general.
I'll post screen shots to explain.
If I switch to DirectX the water looks reasonably normal ,but as soon as I go back to OpenGL my water goes all black and also I have strange rings appearing in the water textures which I cant solve too.
This has occured after updating my Graphics card to a GTX260.
I'm using Windows7 as well.

Post your conf.ini and maybe that is the cause Wink I'd say it could be your graphics card, although something like this would be more frequent with ATI cards Wink

I don't have my guide sitting here with me as I am away on a job site, but if you look here on the site for my Conf.ini guide, you will see what setting to fix.
I believe its in the vertex array, but I'm not positive without looking at the guide.

Also be sure that you are using the leatest drivers from nVidia.

I am running 4.09 with UP2.1 modded with extra aircraft ,visual mods including Plutonium effects mod and other mods

Try this

This will enable all of the Nvidia Extensions that you currently have disabled. Get these on and then test and we'll work from there.

Thanks, those settings definatly got my blue water back.
Is there any chance you could help me get my system optimised please? I'm just going around in circles! There are so many programs,confini guides and other stuff, I'm getting lost and just going around in circles.

I'd have the same Problem in the Past and then I Install the hole IL2 on a other Partition (not on CSmile and then was works :-)
