F-86 and Mig Null problem
#1

On all F-86's and Migs i get an Error: Null message when i start any mission with any one of these planes.
I have HSFX 4.11.
Is there any fix?

Clean HSFX? Or have you installed different buttons?

I would make sure there is zero conflict between your other mods.
Make sure the buttons file (E\C..:\Programme\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Files\gui\game) is the correct one and the air.ini (E:\Programme\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Files\com\maddox\il2\objects) is the stock one.

If you changed your air.ini and/or buttons file via mods either in the defalut path or a mod folder path, there may be a conflict.

Maybe simply put a minus in front of your mods folder and try again.

Hope that helped, noob here, but within 2 months I modded the shte out of IL-2..

Cheers

Good day, everyone

I moved this topic from the IL-2 Technical Help forum to this HSFX forum because this seems to be more about HSFX than general IL-2 technical issues and armydan is more likely and sooner to get help here.

It can easily be returned if need be.

..If not, I have a noob idea, could upload my air.ini and buttons and you could check if that runs for you.. Big Grin

oh sorry, i thought no one was going to help... I don't think its an air.ini problem i think its because i had a version of HSFX without the mig and sabre so i dled them as a separate mod and added them, but then i updated HSFX... and guess what? that update added them... So i'll just have to reinstall or something.

Why didn't you mention all that in your first post? If that's what you did, then the first thing to try is delete the added mods, and remove their entries from your air.ini. Also make sure you are using the HSFX 4.11 buttons.

armydan, try to read this:

I used brilliant Checkyersix' solution (DL link in post no 9 of the thread) and all was solved...
